2022 BMW M6 Gran Coupe Specs

2022 BMW M6 Gran Coupe Specs – Combining a directed yet aggressive design with outstanding performance, we expect the 2022 BMW M6 to be a sexy star. Power comes from a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8 560-hp mated to a seven-speed or six-speed automatic manual.

One might not expect such brutish power in what is a comfortable and cosseting convertible, but that is why we love it. Although more agile than the 6 series, the steering and brakes do not have the necessary feedback to make the M6 the right sports car.

2022 BMW M6 Performances

BMW’s four-door coupe comes in a performance version with a sports-tuned chassis and a 560-hp twin-turbo V-8. Peak torque at 500 lb-ft; You have a choice of seven-speed dual-clutch automatics or—for real fans—a six-speed manual. Manual matching revs on downshift for added fun.

While the sheet metal is gorgeous and the interior is luxurious, the back seats are too narrow for adults to ride comfortably, if at all.

BMW M owners are a loyal bunch, and they are known to appreciate the opportunity to lower the extra money in exchange for a little exclusivity. The Buyers will be pleased to know that BMW launched the M6 Competition Edition this month, coinciding with the debut of the M6 GT3 long-distance racing car.

Underlining its race-inspired style theme, the M6 Competition Edition is only available as a two-door coupe and is based on the Competition Package which increases horsepower from 560 to 600 horsepower, and torque from 502 to 516 lb-ft. The top speed, at least in Europe, is set at 190 mph instead of the base model of 155 mph.

Some owners will be able to distinguish behind the wheel, but BMW has added some distinctive visuals, starting with the prevailing light blue, dark blue, and red stripes of color.

There is also a faint grille, carbon fiber mirror lid, dark grey twin talking wheel, black window trim, and front fender trim; inside there is more carbon fiber trim, and plenty of M6 Competition badges. No word yet on the price for this exclusivity.
