Flagship Mercedes-Benz will not be what is now not there for the lineup of BMW sedan. The BMW 7 Series has, unlike Merc mainstay, has undergone a significant makeover and is available for order in its new country on Fall 2019. However, this is still only a medium-term facelift though somewhat significant.

The 2021 BMW 7 Series brings basically unchanged from 2020 as the Next-gen model may not be arriving before 2022 or 2023 at the latest. The facelift mentioned has given the candidate a BMW 7 series owner with a great new grill that does not take prisoners. Whoever sees you behind him, will know the story instantly. The rooflines are curved and sharp but the elegant lines give the effect of sportiness but do not forget that the 7 series weighs almost 5,000 pounds.

BMW 7 Series Specs

While the iconically large and fancy news series 7 sedan could lose the most powerful machine is about, no doubt all-electric powertrain will easily fill the powerful shoes. The publication said the top-tier offers i7 could be at least 650 horsepower (484 kilowatts), which would make one powerful sedan.

BMW is the first diving Grille into electrification. Although rumors say the next 7 series will lack a large displacement engine, don’t expect the next generation of the sedan to be slow. BMW’s 3.0-liter inline-six engine would have allegedly continued for both plug-in and lightweight-Hybrid 7 Series with an entry-level, Hybrid-powered 7 Series reportedly making 560 HP (420 kW) and 590 pound-foot (800 Newton-meter) of torque. They are an impressive amount of performance.

Inside, the redesigned BMW 7 series resembles a more refined Rolls Royces and drives like one as well. Air suspension and adaptive silencer are as gentle as they come. At the same time, the flagship BMW sedan also offers a number of advanced driver tools-all the standards of the get-go.

BMW 7 Series Engine

Three machines of different sizes have been selected to move the 5,000-Pounder around. At the lower end of the lineup, the 740i model uses the 3.0 Twin-Turbo L straight-six with 322 horses and 332 pounds-feet of rotation style.

The 745e Model combines the 3.0 L turbocharged linear Engine with an electric motor and 12-kWh battery pack for the combined output of the 389 HP and 442 lb-ft torque. What’s more, it also provides up to 35 miles of electric range alone which doesn’t mean a feat for such a heavy and powerful car.

The more conventional BMW 7 Series models utilize both the highly reworked 4.4 L twin-turbo V8 (750i) or the fine 6.6 L old Twin-Turbo V12 (M760i). The former is now making 532 HP and 553 lb-ft torques that 80 horses and 74 lb-ft more than ever. The latter still makes 600 ponies and 627 pound-feet of a twist but we won’t hold that against it.

New BMW 7 Series 2021 Release Date and Price

The basic BMW 740i starts from $87,500 and cuts the biggest rivals, while the hybrid 745e plug-in costs $96,500. The 750i XDrive requires $103,500 to start with, while the range-topping BMW M760i costs a whopping $158,500.

Until now, this is just a rumor. BMW is pushing hard into electrification, preparing for an inevitable future despite the definite EV. Next Generation 7 Series can hit the market at the end of 2021 or early 2022, which means we can see the concept or production version relatively soon after we head over to the Auto Show Season. If BMW can match or beat the performance of a gasoline-powered vehicle, the car should not have difficulty locating the customer base.
