New 2021 BMW 5 Series LCI Model and Specs
New 2021 BMW 5 Series LCI Model and Specs – The 5 Series is probably the coolest BMW of all time. It is a large sedan, it has almost always looked sporty and provides us with an iconic M model. But every three or four years, the Germans want to do so-called “LCI ” which is a refresh to keep things spicy.
A few weeks ago, a couple of new Spy shots envisioned the BMW 2021 series 5 LCI appeared online, depicting the exterior and interior design. Spy photographers have successfully scooped two test prototypes while undergoing a regular development run on the Nurburgring track in Germany.

Two camouflage vehicles See is the M Sport Touring version and, perhaps, an M550i/M550d xDrive sedan, given its Cerium Grey colored body ornament, mirror exterior cap and alloy Sport wheel sports BI-color style and M design performance.
Currently, 5er does not feel old, but BMW designers have got it into their heads that all grids need to be larger. It started with X7, followed by a 7 series facelift and now the concept of 4 with a long, crazy kidney. Maybe they eat too much salt and develop inflammation.
Anyway, we have seen an updated 5 series several times already, which allows Russian rendering specialists in Kolesa to get a good look. Not that you could miss giant new grilles, but there’s more to the thing going on here.
Fans of this model will also be able to see what they have done on the headlights and backlights. The Bumper has also been finely revised, but the image depicts a more engaging version of M Sport or M Performance with larger front intake and little mascara around the bottom bumper.
But the big Headline-grabber for this update is not M550i, which in a way has already received the power increase to 530 HP. No, it is a 545e plug-in hybrid, which will be updated to around 380 horsepower and offers more pure-electrical autonomy.

As previously commented, the new 2021 BMW Series 5 LCI is for some major changes. Exterior Styling will be taken in line with the latest design philosophy. The upcoming business class Model will also borrow some inspiration directly from the recently revealed 7 LCI series and the SAV X5.
The foreground graphics in the headlights appear to evolve on the G11/G12 LCI theme, while also being rectangular. The headlights will continue to extend up to the radiator grille, which now looks to have become slightly larger and more tridimensional. Both kidneys also appear to be wider and now connected in the middle.
On the back, we have to note the revised tail lamp, which has a more interesting LED pattern. You can also see a slight change in the rear bumper. Also, the front air intake will refresh new thanks, more daring designs.
2021 BMW 5 Series LCI Interior
Inside, there will be no major changes, as the 5-series is more confident enough in its current appearance. I look forward to a new central look for iDrive, as well as a direct digital cockpit (also available for pre-LCI generation).
BMW was rumored to bring another plug-in hybrid version, in addition to the current 530e/530e xDrive. We are talking about the future of 545e, which can be offered with the AWD xDrive option right from the initial sale in addition to the rear-driven variant.

Apart from the electro version, the 5 LCI series will line up with already popular variants: Thrifty and powerful diesel engines in the form of the 520d/530d Duo, the complete lineup of low-start petrol engines consisting of 520i/530i/540i Trio and Range-topping Quad-Turbo M550d with 400 PS (395 HP), V8-powered M550i with 530 PS (523 HP) and high-performance M5/M5 competitions, boasted from 600 PS (592 HP) to 625 PS (617 HP).
