New 2021 BMW 6 Series GT Release Date, Specs – The BMW 6 Series GT is a model that we rarely talk about and it occupies a rather odd place in a broad lineup of companies because it represents the only member of the 6 series lineup now that other models have been promoted to the 8 series family. Some people will say GT is also an exaggerated look as to how customers can just go for the 5 Series Touring or X5 if they want extra versatility.

BMW is not going to drop 6 Series GT in the future by taking into account the prototype has seen carrying camouflage. This leads us to believe the beloved Bimmer is getting a mid-cycle refresh, which means it will remain around for at least a few years. Our Russian friend in Kolesa has fired Photoshop in an attempt to find out what is hiding under the disguise that slapped into the test vehicle.

If you are worried about the great BMW Grille trend that affects 6 Series GT, a spy shot has revealed Life Cycle Impulse (The luxury way the company says the facelift) will army with a normal pair of kidneys. There will be some significant changes to the appearance of the lamp, with a fresh LED daylight light running signature inspired by the Model 8 series.

The designers also spend some time tweaking the front Bumper, but you have to be a diehard fan to see the changes immediately. In the back, fresh graphics for LED backlights are expected, along with some minor modifications to the bumper. It’s worth mentioning the adjacent rendering attempt to look to the future of the high-end 6 Series GT equipped with an optional M Sport package. In it, the latest and greatest Infotainment system companies will be installed, complete with support for Apple CarPlay Wireless and Android Auto.

Considering it started for sale only about two years ago, we didn’t expect the 6 GT facelift series to be available at BMW dealers in the first half of next year. A late launch of 2020 seems more sensible, while future cars beyond this generation are uncertain.

With its 6 series Coupe, convertible, and Gran Coupe that crashed into a reborn 8 Series lineup, effectively meaning the unpopular Gran Turismo remained a single member of the BMW 6er family. Many of us were surprised when Bavarians have introduced about two years ago the second generation of the previous intermediate liftback was known as the 5 GT series, and now we are equally surprised that BMW is already working on a facelift as this shot Spy reveals.

By its appearance, we are dealing with a discreet mid-cycle refresh for Gran Turismo, although the headlights appear to differ significantly from the current car. The LED pattern for the light running daylight has changed, while the disguises in the front Grille make us worried about the potential size increase for the kidneys as we see in the facelifted 7 Series. The Front Bumper is fully disguised as well, though we won’t hold our breath for any major changes.

Not much can be said about the back of the prototype as the backlight has been brought from the current car. That being said, production-ready vehicles will likely receive some updated graphics for their backlight LEDs. From what we can tell, the rear bumper is still the same, except for some minor visual tweaks hiding under swirly Camo. Again, nothing makes you hurry to the BMW dealership and place the order for the 6 Series GT.

Whatever BMW in tow as far as interior updates, we will see them first on the series 5 sedan facelift We caught recently testing as a plug-in hybrid. The Goodies should include the latest digital instruments and largest clusters and up-to-date Infotainment iDrive systems. Knowing the modus operandi of premium cars, expect BMW to cram even more technology to the GT that is not loved.

With no 3 Series GT replacement in front of the eyes, the 6 GT series will be the army as the only Gran Turismo in the BMW portfolio. For how long? While it’s too fast to say whether the next car-gen will exist (we won’t get our expectations too high), the fact that the facelift for the existing model is planned means you’ll still be able to get one in 2-3 years Next or more.
