    The longer range battery-only drive is a huge improvement compared to other BMW hybrids. For me I could easily drive almost all of the time on battery with the 545, something I can’t do in my 530e which I love anyway. But I’m not a SUV kind of guy – in fact I hate them. So I’m hoping there will be a 545e iPerformance sedan or wagon in the US market soon, like there is in Europe. I think it would outsell much of the competition in that segment.
